主要从事硫系玻璃薄膜制备技术和薄膜结构、缺陷、电学特性、相变行为等研究;研究纳米压印或光刻制备硫系脊型光波导的技术工艺及其在非线性光子器件中的应用。目前主持国家自然基金面上项目1项(硫系薄膜热光稳定性及其亚微米光波导的热压印研究,项目起止时间:2014.01-2017.12),浙江省公益攻关项目1项(非线性光器件应用的硫系光波导热压印技术研究,项目起止时间:2014.01-2016.12)。完成国家自然基金青年基金项目1项(用于光子芯片的硫系玻璃薄膜制备与光敏机理研究,项目起止时间:2011.01-2013.12),浙江省自然基金项目1项、宁波市自然基金项目和浙江省教育厅项目各1项。2013年获得宁波大学徐望月奖,2010年度宁波大学胡岚优秀博士基金获得者,2009年获得中国科学院院长优秀奖,“新型红外硫系玻璃制备关键技术及应用”项目获得2014年国家技术发明奖二等奖(排名4/6)、2012年浙江省科技进步一等奖(排名8/13)、2011年宁波市科技进步一等奖(排名8/13)。“新型宽带主动光纤及光纤放大器研究”项目获得2007年浙江省科技进步二等奖(排名5/7)、2007年宁波市科技进步一等奖(排名6/7)。“稀土掺杂重金属氧化物玻璃发光特性研究”项目获得了2010年浙江省高等学校科研成果一等奖(排名4/7)。
